Air Asia Cadet Pilot Program in India



Air Asia has started a pilot training program in India for aspiring pilots of India. The initial Ground training for the program is provided in India and then the actual flying training is provided in New Zealand.

Initially, 4-month ground training is provided in India on simulators and other equipment. Then the actual flying training of 12 to 14 months is given in New Zealand after which you get a certification as an Airbus A 320 pilot.

What is the eligibility to enrol in this program?

  • Nationality

You should be an Indian National or you should be a holder of overseas citizenship of India.

  • Age

17 (should have completed 10+2) to 33 on the date of application

  • Education

10+2 with Physics and Mathematics with an aggregate of 60%
Also, they should have at least 60 % marks in English, Physics and Mathematics.

  • Fitness

You should be physically and mentally fit and should have Class I and class II medical certification.
